Being remote controlled, the Bluebird FM 23-25 Scythe Mower doesn’t require you to trudge around behind it, which is a real boon, given the type of tough, adverse terrain its high-grip rubber tracks enable it to traverse. You’ll be able to pick a spot, up to 200m away, and then stand back and watch as all the hard work is done for you.
The heavy-duty, swing-tip blades on the Bluebird FM 23-25 Scythe Mower have a voracious appetite for all things green and woody; and, as their name suggests, they’ll swing back should they strike an immovable object, thereby avoiding costly transmission damage.
The Bluebird FM 23-25 rough-cut mower incorporates a hybrid system, combining the power of the Loncin 224cc engine for maximum mowing efficiency with the 28V battery motors. The 600W drive motors are independently controlled enabling you to lock either side and get the machine to turn on the spot.
An adjustable cutting-height – 30 to 60mm – means you can adapt to the nature of the undergrowth you’re faced with on any given day; Bluebird’s employment of a premium Loncin four-stroke OHV engine ensures you’ll get the very best in terms of performance, reliability and fuel economy.
This 53cm model’s low centre of gravity and tracked design allow it to safely negotiate inclines up to a substantial 25°.
