Description

The BCS Reaper Binder is ideal for growers wanting to take control of their harvesting and reduce harvesting time. It will cut, bundle, and tie crops in a single pass. Suitable for many different types of crops, including grains, sesame, lavender, herbs, and more, this harvester is directly descended from the very first BCS machines that were originally built over 80 years ago!

The 140cm wide cutter bar cuts material 7cm from the ground. The continuous and constant movement of the forks positioned above the cutter bar then allows the cut crop to be bundled towards the binding mechanism which ties the cut material approximately either 19cm or 28cm above the cut (dependent on the model).

The patented PowerSafe® clutch offers unrivalled levels of performance and reliability. The disc inside the clutch are forced together using hydraulic power to provide instant torque and efficient transfer of power. Importantly this also means that the wheels and working implement stop very quickly when the operator presence lever is released.

The twine holder positioned on top of the unit is easy to access.

The wooden handles provide the operator with reliable grip, even in damp conditions.

Wide cut

The 140cm cutter bar cuts approximately 17cm from the ground and then crops are bound 30cm above the cut.

The Reaper Binder features four forward working speeds and a single reverse speed.
